Reception Area

When you enter the reception area, you will be greeted by one of our receptionists, who will check your pet into the hospital or escort you into one of the examination rooms. This area also provides an assortment of client education materials. Eukanuba Veterinary Diets, Hills Prescription Diets, and Purina CNM Prescription Diets as well as pet supplies are also on display for your purchasing convenience.

Examination Room

Here the doctors perform physical examinations and administer vaccinations to your pet. Each exam room is very private and quiet, making consultations and examinations very comfortable for you and your pet.

Treatment Room

The treatment room is considered the "heart" of the hospital. This is where in-patients receive treatment, while others are prepped for surgery. Dentistry, minor surgery, catheter placement and blood-drawings are also performed in this area, and there is direct access from here to the surgery, radiology, wards, and break room.

Pharmacy

The pharmacy contains numerous medications the doctor may prescribe for your pet. Our staff may also refill prescriptions your pet is already on.

Digital Radiography

Radiology is an important diagnostic tool at Cheyenne Pet Clinic. Our modern digital X-ray machine provides us with accurate and speedy results which help in the diagnosis of diseases and trauma.

Surgery Suite

Our surgical suite is state-of-the-art with the newest, safest anesthetic machines, heating pads, and a positive pressure ventilation systems which keeps the room as dust-free as possible. All major sterile surgeries are performed here, such as spays, orthopedic surgeries, and exploratory operations. All anesthetized animals are maintained on a cardiac/respiratory monitor to ensure a safe and speedy procedure and recovery.

Dental

Our newly-upgraded dental equipment includes ultrasonic technology for scaling and polishing your pet's teeth. We also have specialized digital dental X-ray capabilities which allows us to visualize dental disease below the gum line. Sedated dentistry with these technologies allows us to provide excellent animal dental care.

Laboratory

Our up-to-date laboratory is able to provide important information to help diagnose medical problems or to determine if your pet is in top-notch shape or not. Chemistry panels, complete blood counts (CBC), urinalysis, fecal examinations, Feline Leukemia/FIV tests, Brucellosis, and heartworm tests are just some of the procedures performed in our laboratory. Pathology specimens are usually sent to the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory in Laramie. For other, more specific tests, we use different laboratories in various parts of the country.
