Robert M. Farr, DVM
A graduate of Auburn University in 1972, Dr. Farr served in the
U.S. Air Force for five years before coming to Cheyenne in 1977.
He purchased the original Cheyenne Pet Clinic in 1978 and built
the current facility in 1983.
Dr. Farr has been
active in athletics and community service in Cheyenne. He is currently
a member of the Air Force Association, Military Affairs Committee of the
Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, American Veterinary Medical Association,
American Animal Hospital Association, Wyoming Veterinary Medical Association,
and Cheyenne Veterinary Medical Association. He is a past recipient of
the 1989 Friend of Education Award, Small Businessman of the Year, and
the Sam Walton Business Leader Award. Dr. Farr has been recognized also
for his work with wildlife rehabilitation and for founding the Youth Volunteer
Program at the clinic. Dr. Farr has two daughters, Hilary and Annie, who
live in Tampa, Florida.
Christopher
A. Church, DVM
Dr. Church was a volunteer at the Cheyenne Pet Clinic prior to entering
college. He is a University of Wyoming alumnus and he graduated with honors
from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. He
has been practicing with Dr. Farr at the Cheyenne Pet Clinic since May
1995. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American
Animal Hospital Association, University of Wyoming Alumni Association,
and the Cheyenne Veterinary Medical Association. He is married to Brooke
and they have four children: Joshua, Brenton, Jessica, and Coleden.
Tiffany S.
Healey, DVM
Dr. Healey grew up in Cheyenne and was a volunteer at the Cheyenne Pet
Clinic before starting veterinary school. She graduated from the University
of Oklahoma in 1995 with a degree in zoology. She graduated from Oklahoma
State University veterinary school in 2002. Upon graduation she was one
of three senior veterinary students nationwide to receive the Sue Busch
Memorial Award in recognition for her role in supporting companion animals
and the human-animal bond. She is a member of Phi Zeta Veterinary Honors
Society and Phi Kappa Phi National Honors Society. While in veterinary
school, she was involved in researching the use of lasers in veterinary
medicine, including a preventative therapy for dogs with intervertebral
disk disease, and using lasers to treat certain types of cancer. Dr. Healey
has had several articles published in national veterinary journals.
Dr. Healey is a member
of the American Veterinary Medicine Association, the Wyoming Veterinary
Medicical Association, the Cheyenne Veterinary Medical Association, the American Hospital Association and PEO. She
is married to Nick Healey, a local attorney. They have two children, Ethan
and Juliann. The Healey’s have a golden retriever named Tally and
two cats, Aberdeen and Marmalade.
Meagan K. Anderson, DVM
Dr. Anderson is proud to be an alumna of Texas A & M University
(Gig 'em, Aggies!) She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor
of Science degree in Biomedical Science in 2002, then earned her DVM degree
in 2005. She is a member of Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society, the
American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital
Association and the Cheyenne Veterinary Medical Association. Dr.
Anderson has a special interest in Christian mission work. She is
a member of the Christian Veterinary Missions Organization and plans to
continue to contribute her time to their cause.
She moved to
Cheyenne after she married Wyoming Air National Guard C-130 pilot Kurt
Anderson in May of 2005. Dr. Anderson now volunteers her time as a Key Spouse for Family Support for his squadron. The Andersons are very happy to be settled
here in Cheyenne.They have two daughters, Rachael Nicole and Eva Kate. The family also inlcudes 2 Siamese mix cats named Mickey Blue Eyes, and MoJo, a Thoroughbred horse named Beau, and a Boxer mix dog named Hannah.
Jenine M. Phelps, DVM
Dr. Jenine Phelps is originally from Maryland where she received her B.S. in biology from Frostburg State University in 1999. She then moved to Lexington, KY with her fiancé and worked at a veterinary clinic for several years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine (War Eagle!) in 2007. During veterinary school she was chosen to be the student representative for the Iams dog food company and was involved in several organizations including the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians and the student chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
She and her husband Matt Dzialak are very excited to be in Wyoming. Matt works out of Laramie as an environmental consultant. They live in Cheyenne with their two dogs Nage and Boone.
Kelcie Glick, DVM
Dr. Glick is from southwestern New Mexico, and is very glad to be living back in the West after spending her college years in the Midwest. She received her Bachelor's of Art in Biology from Goshen
College in Indiana, and next headed to Kansas, where she received her veterinary degree from Kansas State University in 2009.
While in veterinary school, Dr. Glick pursued many different interests and was involved in organizations ranging from Toastmaster's International to the student chapter of the AVMA to the KSU Zoological Medicine Organization. She enjoys working with exotic pets, and managed the
KSU teaching herpetarium during her junior year. Currently, Dr. Glick is part of the Cheyenne Veterinary Medical Association and also the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association.
In her spare time, Dr. Glick likes to enjoy the great outdoors. During the summer and fall she travels around the country with her ultimate frisbee teams to compete in tournaments. She also finds time
for cycling, running and hiking. Her greyhound mix dog, Echo, likes to come along on as many of these outdoor adventures as possible.
